Welcome to my professional site, where you can find a collection of my online writing and academic work.
I’m a molecular biologist and Drosophila geneticist by training. My general academic interests center on hormonal signaling and epigenetics of transcription and chromatin structure, as well as in promoting scientific literacy in STEM and non-STEM students. I’m currently a full-time medical writer at BGB Group in New York City, and a part-time science writer covering issues of science engagement, education, communication, and public policy.
Most recently I started the Liber Et Scientia blog. If you’re interested in the realm where science, policy, and politics meet, have a look.
